A 3x3 Hoop Festival and FREE Community Block Party returns to downtown San Jose at The Plaza Powered by Hoop It Up.
Divisions span Pro-Am, adult men's and women's (with 40+, 31+, and 6ft-and-under brackets), a wheelchair division, elite High School, and youth boys and girls from 18U down to 10U. It's basketball as block party — built to fuel local youth sports, light up downtown, and give back to community organizations across the Bay.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM
Location: Calaveras Hills High School (Recording Room, Control Room, Computer Lab)

Program Overview
The Creative Economy Course introduces high school students to the fundamentals of media production and creative entrepreneurship. Through hands-on learning and access to professional tools and spaces, students will explore storytelling through video, photography, podcasting, graphic design, and branding. The course culminates in a final Video Sales Letter (VSL) project, promoting the school’s identity through student-led media campaigns.
Students will leave the program with a portfolio of original content, practical experience using industry-standard tools, and a foundational understanding of how to navigate and contribute to today’s creative economy.
